Biography of Emmanuel Isaac Ukoete

EMMANUEL ISAAC UKOETE, born in 1974 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing
 Ukanafun/Orukanam federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He attended Queen of Apostle Seminary, where he obtained his O-Level Certificate. Thereafter, he attended Institute of Journalism, where he obtained a Diploma in Journalism, before proceeding to the University of Uyo where he bagged Bsc in International Studies.

Emmanuel Ukoete was a one-time Special Assistant to the governor of Akwa Ibom State on environment and the People’s Democratic Party’s youth leader. He also was the General Manager of the Akwa Ibom Taxi Company.

Emmanuel Isaac Ukoete was elected into the Federal House of Representatives in 2011 to represent Ukanafun/Orukanam federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was re-elected in the year 2015. His legislative interests border on Custom & Excise Duties, Niger Delta Development Commission. He targets to help in framing robust laws to strengthen the polity.
