Haliru Dauda Jika, born 1976 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Darazo/Gunjuwa Federal
Constituency of Bauchi State of Nigeria under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Sardauna Memorial College Kaduna where he obtained West African School Certificate in 1999. He then got admission into the Kaduna Polytechnic, obtaining National Diploma in Engineering in the year 2003.

Haliru Dauda Jika was elected into the Bauchi State House of Assembly, where he became the Speaker of the state house. He has also held several other strategic positions including chairman selection/establishment committee; chairman transition committee for works and rural development; coordinating  chairman national youth vanguard etc.

In the year 2015, Haliru Dauda Jika was elected into the Federal House of Representative to represent Darazo/Gunjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State of Nigeria under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His legislative interest border on ensuring that peoples interests are captured. He targets to achieve efficient representation.

Haliru Dauda Jika have held the following Offices:

Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly;

Chairman, Selection Committee, Bauchi state house of Assembly.
