Iboro Asuquo Ekanem
IBORO ASUQUO  EKANEM born 1958 is a members of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Ikono/ Ini federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State, under the platform of the
Peoples Democratic Parties.

Iboro Ekanem attended Hope Waddell Training Institution Calabar where he obtained his West African School Certificate in the year 1976. Thereafter, he proceeded to the Calabar Polytechnics where he obtained Higher National Diploma Certificate (HND) in Electricals in the year 1981.

After his university education, Iboro proceeded for his mandatory one year national youth service program. After that, he became an electrical engineering contractor/ consultant. He later served as the executive chairman of the Ikono lga, akwa ibom state. He then became a commissioner of science and technology of Akwa Ibom State.

In the year 2015, Iboro Asuquo Ekanem partook in a general election, and was elected as a member presenting the Ikono/ Ini federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State in the federal house of representatives, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Asuquo's legislative interests border on making legislations that bring about good governance for sustainable peace, unity, human capacity and structural development in the nation, Nigeria.


Iboro  Asuquo Ekanem targets to effectively represent his constituency to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
