Kwamoti Bitrus Laori
Kwamoti Bitrus Laori, born 1965, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency of Adamawa State of Nigeria, under the
platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDC).

Kwamoti had his secondary education at Government Secondary School, UBA, where he obtained West African School Certificate in 1985. Thereafter, he gained admission into the University of Jos, where he studied Law and graduated in 1994, obtaining his LL.B. The following year, he went to the Nigerian Law School, got his BL, and was called to the Bar. He later proceeded to the Federal University of Technology Yola, for his post graduate studies.

In the year 2007, Kwamoti Bitrus Laori was elected into the Adamawa State House of Assembly as a legislator, a position he held until 2015. At the Adamawa State House of Assembly, he was the Chief Whip, and eventually, the Speaker.

In 2015, Kwamoti Bitrus Laori was elected into the Federal House of Representatives as a member, representing the Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency of Adamawa State of Nigeria, under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).


His Legislative Interests border on Foreign Affairs, Education, Finance, Sports and Agriculture
