Lazarus Nweru Ogbee
LAZARUS NWERU OGBEE born 1969, is a member of the
Federal House of Representatives, representing the Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State of Nigeria, under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

Lazarus attended Ezza High School Amuzu, and obtained GCE/WAEC certificate in 1984. He studied Education Administration in Ebonyi State University. He also studied at Imo State Polytechnic.

He was a Party Chairman of his Local Government between the year 2001 and 2003. He served as a supervisory Councilor for Agriculture/Natural Resources, Education Supervisor from 2005 to 2006, Coordinator of the Ezza South-East Development Center 2007 – 2010. In the year 2010, he became the Executive Chairman of Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, a position he held until 2014.

In the year 2015, Lazarus Nweru Ogbee was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State of Nigeria, under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). His legislative interests border on security of lives and property, rural development, infrastructural and human development through capacity building and self help. He targets to enact good laws that will help in good governance, project quality education /agriculture development, education, and service.

Lazarus Nweru Ogbee has got the following Awards & Honours:
Best Coordinator in Ebonyi Central 2009. Best Chairman in Ebonyi State 2012 by the Nigerian Union of Journalist. Best Chairman Southern Nigeria, by Rare Media Link 2013. Best performed chairman in Nigeria by NAFEC 2013. Best Security Agency Friendly Chairman by Ebonyi Police Command. Best Grassroots Developer by Ebonyi MDGS and EBCDA.
