Hon. Ayo  Hulayat Omidiran was born in  1963. She is an indigene of Osun State. She
is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency.

She attended Ayedaade Grammar School, Ikire where she obtained her West Africa School Certificate in 1980. She proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where she obtained a degree in Bio-Chemistry in 1985.

She contested for a seat in the Federal House of Assembly in the 2011 elections and won.

In the 2015 elections, she again re-contested for the Federal House of Representative under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Won to represent Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency.

She has as her Legislative Interests Human Capital Development, Education. In line with this she targets to ensure the provision of Educational infrastructure to her constituency, and provide an empowerment programme for women and youths.

It is worthy to note that she is the recipient of some awards including the excellent media South-west woman of the year in 2005 and NASS Media most outstanding representative award for the south -west-in 2012.
