Binta Bello
Binta Bello, born 1970 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency of Gombe State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

She attended W.T.C Badoja where she obtained Teachers Grade II Certificate in 1988. She studied Public Administration at the University of Maiduguri, obtaining Bachelors Degree(Bsc) in the discipline in the year 2010.

Binta  Bello worked as a class-room teacher for many years before she was appointed a Commissioner in Gombe State.

In the year 2011, Binta was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where she represents the Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency of Gombe State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). She was re-elected for the same position in the year 2015. Her legislative interests border on poverty eradication, development of rural areas, and local government autonomy. She targets to achieve proper implementation of budget, proper oversight on Milleniun Development Goals and Constituency project.
