Biography of Dennis Nnamdi Agbo

Dennis Nnamdi Agbo born 1961, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


He attended Nsukka High School, Nsukka, where he obtained West African School Certificate in the year 1980. He studied Accountants at  the University of Nigeria Nsukka(UNN), Enugu campus where he graduated with a Bsc. (hons.) in 1986. He then attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria              1989 and 2015, becoming a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the institute.

After his education, Dennis Nnamdi Agbo worked with the following organizations: Obadan, Odin & Co. Chartered Accountants (Audit Trainee), 1986-1987 Mayor Associates Ltd, Lagos (Publications Manager), 1987-1989 Afribank Plc (Executive Assistant),  1989-1990 Zenith Bank Plc, (manager), 1990-1997 UBA plc, senior manager. 1997-2001 African Express Bank Ltd. (Assistant General Manager). 2001-2003 fankin Consulting, Frankin Communications Ltd (Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer), Oriental Electric Power Ltd.


Dennis Nnamdi Agbo was later elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His Legislative interests border on bill making for good governance and well being of Nigerian people. He targets to bring about inter-governmental collaborations, economic empowerment of constituents, and to have regular sitting presence at the National Assembly.
