Biography of Jerome Amadi Eke

Hon. Jerome Amadi Eke was born in 1967. He is an indigene of
Rivers State. He is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Etche/Omuma Federal constituency of Rivers State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He attended State Sch,Ndashi Etche where he obtained his first School leaving Certificate in 1973. He then proceeded to Community Secondary School where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate(WASC) in 1980. He proceeded to the College of Education Portharcourt, where he obtained a National Certificate of Education,(NCE)

In the 2015 elections, he contested for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives to represent Etche/Omuma federal Constituency and won.

It is worthy to note that he targets to create an effective representation of his constituency

However, Chief Jerome Amadi Eke’s electoral victory is being challenged by the candidate of the All Progressive Congress(APC) Mr.Ogbonna Nwuuke.


In December 2015, the Appeal court however ordered a re-run of the elections.
