Hon. Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi was born January 4, 1969.  He is an indigene of Oyo
State. He is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency.

He attended Onikeke Community High School, Onikeke where he obtained his Senior School Certificate in 1995. He then proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Ede where he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in Secretariat Studies in 1998. He went further to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from the University of Ado-Ekiti in 2005

Prior to becoming a member of the Federal House of Representative, he was Caretaker Chairman, Executive Chairman and later Transition Committee Chairman of Surulere Local Government, Oyo State. He was later appointed the Commissioner for Local Governments Commission, Oyo State. He was also the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Bunvic Petroleum Nig Ltd.

In the 2011 elections, he contested for a seat in the Federal House of Representative and won.

Again in the 2015 elections, he re-contested for the Federal House of Representative under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Won to represent Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency.

He has as his Legislative Interests Youth Empowerment, Education for all, National Transformation in ensuring effective delivery of dividend of democracy. In line with this he targets to improve the standard of living of Nigerians.


It is worthy to note that he won the best performing  Local Government Chairman in Nigeria 2005(by grassroot leadership center), he also won the best performing Local Government Chairman on Education in Oyo state 2005 (by Oyo State Subeb) and also outstanding Legislator of the seventh assembly(by grassroot leadership center)2013.
