Hon. Olusunbo Olugbemi Samson was born in 1968.  He is an indigene of Oyo State
and  he hails from Olugbemi Village near Odo-ona Elewe in Oluyole local government area. He is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Oluyole Local Govt. Federal constituency.

Samson Olusunbo Olugbemi is a seasoned professional with vast experience in financial management.

He attended Igbo Ora Secondary School where he obtained his WAEC in 1987. He proceeded for his tertiary education at Yaba College of Technology where he earned an Ordinary National Diploma(OND) certificate in Accounting, he then proceeded to study Business Administration at the University of Maryland University College USA.

Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representative, Olusunbo Olugbemi has held various positions in Union Bank of Nigeria where he worked for twelve years. To further his knowledge of the corporate world, he left for the United States of America and started working with Afstar Mortgage LLC as a Loan Consultant. He also acted as an Independent Marketing Representative for 5Linx Communications, an international telecommunications company in Rochester New York for 3 years, and rose to the position of National Director before returning to Nigeria in 2010. He is currently a Marketing Director in 5Linx Communications Limited and a Non-Executive Director at Atwool School, Lekki, Lagos.

Since he came back to Nigeria, he has been fully involved in politics and various acts of philanthropy . he has committed his resources to the grassroots and empowering the needy by giving out scholarships, and assisting with paying of school and examination fees (e.g. WAEC, JAMB). As part of his quota to the development of quality education, he also hires supplement teachers to assist the existing teachers in one of the primary schools in Oluyole Local Government.

In the 2011 elections, he contested for a seat in the Federal House of Representative and won.

Again, In the 2015 elections, he re-contested for the Federal House of Representative under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Won to represent Oluyole Local Govt. Federal Constituency.


It is worthy to note that he Targets to push bills that are people oriented & he hopes that those bills will be passed to become laws. He also wants to ensure an adequate representation of his constituency.
