Biography of Faruk Bala Muhammadu

Faruk Bala Muhammadu
Hon Faruk Bala Muhammadu was born in 1967. He is an indigene of Niger State. He is a member of the Federal House of
Representative representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency.

He had his Secondary Education at Government Secondary School Bida where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1978.    

Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representatives, he was Chairman, Revenue Committee, Bida Local Government Minority Whip, Niger State House Assembly Chairman, House Committee On Ministry Of Livestock And Fisheries, Ministry Of Environment, And Ministry Of Mineral Resource.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representative under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and Won to represent Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency.


It is worthy to note that he has as his Legislative Interests Adoption and Implementation of Justice. In view of this he Targets the Creation of employment and investment opportunities and also the exploitation and exploration of bida basin.
