Biography of Fulata Hassan Abubakar
Fulata Hassan Abubakar born 1959 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing the Birniwa/Guri/Kiri-kasamma Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Teachers College Gegumel/ Maigatari and obtained Teachers Grade II Certificate in 1980. He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, and earned a Bsc. in 1985. In the same Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, he obtained his Masters Degree in Sociology in the year 1991.

Fulata Hassan Abubakar  worked as a teacher at Federal Government College, Sokoto. He later became a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He was a director of research and political affairs with the Jigawa State Government. He later was appointed Special Assistant to the minister of foreign affairs. He served also as the  manager, Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF).


Fulata Hassan Abubakar was later elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Birniwa/Guri/Kiri-kasamma Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). His legislative interests border on water resource, agriculture and rural development. He targets water and water related projects, agricultural and rural infrastructure, youth and women empowerment and employment.
