Biography of Hassan Shekarau Adamu
Hassan Shekarau Adamu born 1957, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Birnin-Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Sardauna Memorial College Kaduna, and sat for General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) Examination in the year 1983. He studied law at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Zaria and graduated in the year 1998. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in 1990 and was thereafter called to the Bar.

Hassan Shekarau Adamu have served the county in the following capacities: class teacher (1979-1980); School principal (1985-1990); local government chairman (1991-1999); and a two time state commissioner in 2003 and 2004.

Hassan Shekarau Adamu was later elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Birnin-Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). At the Federal House, he is a member of the Committee on Pensions.

His legislative interests border on formulation of good law for the good governance of the constituency. He targets to contribute in bills formulation, initiate bills, constituency outreach and development.
