Biography of Ibrahim Dutse Abdullahi

Ibrahim Dutse Abdullahi born 1959 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Government Secondary School, Birnin Kudu, where he obtained West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1978. He studied accounting at Bayero University Kano, where he obtained a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc) Accounting in 1982. He then studied at ESUT Business School, Lagos, where he gained Masters in Banking and Finance in the year 2000.

Ibrahim Dutse Abdullahi worked as divisional accountant (with African Petroleum) Treasury Manager (Oando 1983-1990). He was later appointed as a Commissioner and served the Jigawa State Government in that capacity from the year 2000 to 2007.

Ibrahim was later elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

At the House of Representatives, he is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. His legislative interests, border on youth empowerment and women development. He targets to be part of the change that Nigerians are yearning for.
