Biography of Yusuf Miga Saidu

Yusuf Miga Saidu
Yusuf Miga Saidu, born 1957, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Jahun/Miga Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended the following institutions:
Dutse T.G            1981       grade 2;
ATBU     2004       H.D.A.E.E.

Yusuf Miga Saidu worked as a teacher and a member of the Jigawa State House of Assembly. Between the years 2002 and 2003, he served as the commissioner for special duties. In the year 2000, he became an adviser to Jigawa State’s governor, a position he held until 2001.

In 2003, Yusuf Miga Saidu was elected into the Federal House of Representatives where he represents the Jahun/Miga Federal Constituency of Jigawa State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was re-elected in the year 2015.

At the House of Representatives, he is a member of the committees for HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria control. His legislative interest border on enacting good laws.
