Biography of Abdulahi Umar Faruk
Abdulahi Umar Faruk born 1962 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the b/kebbi/kalgo/bunza Federal Constituency of Kebbi State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Giginya Memorial Teachers College and obtained Teachers Grade II Certificate. He then proceeded to Niger State Polytechnic where he obtained a Diploma Certificate.

Abdulahi Umar Faruk worked as a civil servant between 1986 and 1991 at Sokoto, then kebbi state from 1991-1996. He moved into private practice and pitched with African Projects Construction between 1996 and 2000.


In the year 2003, Abdulahi Umar Faruk was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents  the b/kebbi/kalgo/bunza Federal Constituency of Kebbi State. He was re-elected in 2003 and 2015. His legislative interests covers education and  infrastructural development. He targets to maintain active participation in passage of bills and committee activities.
