Muhammadu Chiromawa Muktar
Muhammadu Chiromawa Muktar (born 1964) is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Kura/Madobi/Garun Malam Federal Constituency of Kano State, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Federal College of Fisheries where he obtained HND in 1982. He studied Legislative Practice at Thomas Valley University, London and obtained certificate in legislative practice in 2004. He also got certificate in good governance in agriculture from Management Institute, Swaziland in the year 2009.

Muhammadu Chiromawa Muktar worked with Hadejia Jamma'ar River Basin Development Authority, and also engaged in international business ventures. He became the chairman of Kura Local Government Area of Kano State in 1999 and held the office until 2003. In the year 2007, he was elected as a member of the Kano State House of Assembly, a position he held until 2011.

Muhammadu Chiromawa Muktar was later elected into the Federal House of Representatives where he represents the Kura/Madobi/Garun Malam Federal Constituency of Kano State, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). His legislative interests cover poverty reduction and wealth redistribution. He targets to achieve robust agricultural policy for the nation.
