Biography of Sani Bala Umar
Sani Bala Umar born 1969 is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Tsanyawa/kunchi Federal Constituency of Kano State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

He attended Government Secondary School Karaye where he obtained Senior Secondary Certificate in 1988. He studied Engineering at Bayero University Kano, and graduated in the year 1995. He proceeded to get his Masters Degree from the same Bayero University, Kano in 2006.

After his university education, Sani Bala Umar ventured into power generation, transmission and distribution. In fact, he could best be described as power manager.

Sani Bala Umar later ventured into politics and became a member of the Federal House of Representatives, where he represents the Tsanyawa/kunchi Federal Constituency of Kano State under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). His legislative interests border on power, finance, works and housing, federal character, appropriation and aviation. He targets to improve on living standards of Nigerians by ensuring good and quality laws and regulations.
